“LIKE, LIKE UM, LIKE YEA, LIKE NO, and LIKE WHY?”

If you could permanently ban a word from general usage, which one would it be? Why?

If I was given a choice to ban one word from general usage, that word would be like. You may ask why would you want to permanently ban the word “Like” from general usage?

Have you ever had conversations with people which should have taken no longer than twenty seconds to say instead it took nerve-racking longer all because of the over usage and misuse of one word, LIKE?

Like maybe at the top of the list for overused and misused words.

For instants a conversation with a group of friends, asking another friend if she would like to go to the mall to hang out. That conversation should take (3.69 sec) vs “Like, hi Sarah like we’re going to go to like the mall and like hang out and stuff like that and like would you like to like come? (11.69 secs). 🤦🏾‍♀️

Like was implanted into the above exam multiple times before the question is completed.

Just imagine all those likes in a conversation that’s even longer than the example above and you have to use the bathroom. Good grief, as Charlie Brown would say! 🤦🏾‍♀️😄

By the way you do not have to say the word just tap the star button below. 😃

Imagine is from GIF.
