The ability to sleep
Sorry, for staying away for so long, but my mind has not been at it’s best due to family issues and the lack of sleep.
The significance of sleep is under-appreciated in the strenuous lives of various societies. These activities could play a crucial role in hindering the human body’s ability to perform including healing at it’s intended rate; The hustle and bustle of work, family problems, school, and electronics yes, I said electronics; can cause inadequate amounts of sleep.
Sleep plays a vital role in good health and well-being throughout your life. Getting enough quality sleep at the right times can help protect your mental health, physical health, quality of life, and safety. During sleep, your body is working to support healthy brain function and maintain your physical health.
Some people value their jobs, school and making money over their health when it comes to getting the sleep they need to sustain. The lack of sleep causes the body to work less effective than it is supposed to; Staying up all night working on projects and programs for work and school can cause the body to become stressed and weak. I am proof of the effects of a sleepless body.

The past few weeks have proven to be challenging with no ending from stressors insight. I feel Satan has attacked my family from the oldest to the youngest in order to cause me to turn away from God. I blogged a couple weeks ago about my great uncle well since that blog he has passed, the next week one of our 11 grandchildren came down with pneumonia and had to get admitted to the hospital for 3 days and before the week ended my husband who is three months out of kidney transplant has been admitted into hospital where he is still as of today. I tell you when it rains it pours.
Thursday night was the final test of my strength. I felt myself getting weak and weaker after staying up all night in the ER with my husband waiting for a bed to become available before he could be transported to the hospital and admitted. I finally told my husband I had to go and get some sleep. I got a chance to go home Friday late morning to get a couple hours sleep before going to the hospital, but on my journey home I could not think clearly and was seeing things that were not what they appeared to be due to the lack of sleep. I was shaking and could not remember clearly, my body started aching which I assumed I was coming down with a cold which scared me because of my husband’s condition; however after I got a couple of hours of sleep I was feeling amazingly better.
I thank God for taking care of me and all who were around me as I traveled home no matter what the distance. I could have fallen asleep while driving which could have resulted in a minor or fatal accident. I could have been injured, killed or caused the like to someone else, but by the grace of God allowing me yet more time I am able to share this information and rejoin my husband at the hospital and help his health team take care of his physical necessities while God works on it all.
