Being thankful for today

Today has been another special Saturday for me as a woman in Christ.

Throughout the year on Saturdays Churches of Christ women from various congregations come together to host Ladies Day Programs. These programs are inspiring, uplifting and encouraging, because you get to meet sisters from different congregations, in various cities and states who bring amazing styles of teaching which help others understand what thus says the Lord whether by speaking only or visual examples, while staying on one accord with the Lord.

Ladies Day programs bring solace, clarity and understanding to some. It allows others to spend time with other ladies in whom they might not get to meet other wise and to invite a non member to learn also. There can never be a limit put on the food from the Lord and that is what these programs offer, spiritual appetizers from God.

I am very thankful for the Lord waking me up this morning, so I could join my Christian sisters in Christ and all the people who inspire me on my daily walk of rejoicing and allowing the Lord to restore my mind with the knowledge of his word and to cherish time spent with all I have come into contact with whether in person, by phone or online.

Thank you Lord!

For two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, and has not another to lift him up! Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting on another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:25
